Update on Airport Leases July 23, 2018 Following a series of very productive meetings, we are pleased to announce that agreements have been finalized on several outstanding legal issues. Highland Helicopters and CanWest have resolved their action on the lease transfer matter. In support of this resolution, the Town will be discontinuing their appeal of Justice Graesser’s decision. The Town of Peace River wishes to extend our most sincere condolences to Myles’ family. Like everyone else, we hoped when he went missing on Friday that he would be returned home safely to his family. Defense Filed in Lawsuit July 6, 2018 Today the Town of Peace River filed our defence in relation to a Statement of Claim issued by Can-West Corporate Air Charters and its affiliate, Nor-Alta Aviation Leasing.
