We are in a high-risk period of the spring break-up. If you live in low-lying areas (Lower West Peace, Downtown, North End, Heart River, Pat’s Creek), you need to be ready now.

The Town and Province continue to actively monitor conditions. An Ice Jam Watch was issued last night (April 20) and remains in place as flows and ice continue moving through the system.

The Town of Peace River advises that Barbara Miller is no longer serving as Chief Administrative Officer, effective immediately. Council thanks Ms. Miller for her service to the community since 2022 and wishes her well in her future endeavours.
