Medical Skills Weekend A Success September 28, 2018 Students studying several health-care disciplines in Peace River to discover the advantages of living and working in northern Alberta. On September 22 and 23, 2018, Peace River hosted a Medical Skills Weekend event, sponsored by the Rural Health Professions Action Plan (Rh PAP), the Peace Regional Healthcare Attraction and Retention Committee, and Alberta Health Services. Update on Airport Leases July 23, 2018 Following a series of very productive meetings, we are pleased to announce that agreements have been finalized on several outstanding legal issues. Highland Helicopters and CanWest have resolved their action on the lease transfer matter. In support of this resolution, the Town will be discontinuing their appeal of Justice Graesser’s decision. The agreements also provide for the discontinuance of the conspiracy action against the Town and Northern Air Charters.
