Join the Roots of Empathy Family
- Did you welcome a new baby in July or August?
- Are you open to spending time with classroom students and sharing your parenting experiences and stories with them?
- Do you have 45 minutes a month (9 months) to share with a local group of students, so that they can share in the experience of watching your baby grow and learn?
What would be involved?
During each Roots of Empathy classroom visit, a trained instructor will lead each classroom session, during these sessions, you will have the opportunity to share some stories and feelings about your new baby with the students. With this program, the baby is their “little teacher” and students learn all about empathy, feelings, growth and development, through watching how baby relates to their parent.
