Glycol Release and Fire Suppression Test at Baytex Energy Centre Posted on May 5, 2022 We will be conducting a fire pump test for the Baytex Energy Centre, which means that residents in the area may see sediments in their water. This test will be happening on Monday, May 9, 2022.   If residents see sediment in their water, it is recommended that they flush their water by keeping it running for 10 minutes. Northern HEAT Returns After Two-Year Hiatus Posted May 4, 2022 After a two-year hiatus due to pandemic restrictions, the Northern HEAT Fire Conference is back in Peace River this week. This 4-day training seminar and Trade Show, organized by the Peace Regional Fire Chiefs, runs from Wednesday, May 4 to Saturday, May 7 at the Fire Department’s Training site on the West Hill and at the Chateau Nova Hotel.
