Northern HEAT Returns After Two-Year Hiatus

After a two-year hiatus due to pandemic restrictions, the Northern HEAT Fire Conference is back in Peace River this week.
This 4-day training seminar and Trade Show, organized by the Peace Regional Fire Chiefs, runs from Wednesday, May 4 to Saturday, May 7 at the Fire Department’s Training site on the West Hill and at the Chateau Nova Hotel. Up to 200 Firefighters from across Alberta will participate in two days of Live Fire Training and two days of hands-on practical training, as well as conference seminars and a fire equipment vendor Trade Show.
With the Live Fire Training running on Wednesday and Thursday, smoke may be noticeable in the West Hill industrial area.
