Fire at Old Forestry Site on July 6, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Peace River and Weberville Fire Departments responded at 4:00 am Wednesday to a fully involved structure at the Old Forestry site on 103rd Street in south-end of Peace River. The garage/workshop structure had partially collapsed before the Fire Department’s arrival. No other structures were threatened or damaged. Northern HEAT Returns After Two-Year Hiatus Posted May 4, 2022 After a two-year hiatus due to pandemic restrictions, the Northern HEAT Fire Conference is back in Peace River this week. This 4-day training seminar and Trade Show, organized by the Peace Regional Fire Chiefs, runs from Wednesday, May 4 to Saturday, May 7 at the Fire Department’s Training site on the West Hill and at the Chateau Nova Hotel.
