Public Works Update: Week of September 10

Over the next week, our Public Works crews will be busy around town with the following:

• Sewer flushing.
• Fire hydrant winterization.
• Pothole patching (weather permitting).
• Downtown beautification: installation of downtown benches, garbage cans and bike racks, installation was originally supposed to begin the week of September 4, however, unexpected sewer backups delayed the start.
• Repair of asphalt from winter water breaks, including Main Street, set to begin, (weather permitting), work to be completed by the end of the month.
