PRFD Puts out Fire in Dixonville

Shortly after 9 am this morning Peace River and County of Northern Lights Fire Crews were called to the scene of a structure fire at the Dixonville School.

Students were evacuated safely and bused home. Everyone was accounted for with zero injuries.

Two trucks from Peace River, one truck from Weberville and two trucks from Dixonville attended the fire. Point of origin appears to be a storage room at the back of the gym, where a number of gym mats ignited, producing lots of smoke.
