Road work is scheduled for some north-end streets, portions of River Road, and assorted areas downtown starting May 20. Ruel Bros. Contracting has been hired by the Town of Peace River for road structure construction, concrete installation, and road surfacing and drainage improvements on 72 Ave., 73 Ave., and 75 Ave. cul de sacs. Pavement patching will also take place at various points along River Road and throughout downtown, for approximate locations please see the map below. During this time there will be some traffic impacts in areas where work is being done, the project is expected to wrap up by June 30.

There may be restricted or limited access to your property for periods during these improvements. Work areas will be signed before work is to begin. Repairs of any impacted private features will be scheduled to begin once roadway construction is complete. Please use alternative accesses or park outside the construction zones. Please ensure that you move any vehicles or larger items you wish to have access to during this time from your driveway prior to the commencement of this work.
