Glycol Release and Fire Suppression Test at Baytex Energy Centre Posted on May 5, 2022 We will be conducting a fire pump test for the Baytex Energy Centre, which means that residents in the area may see sediments in their water. This test will be happening on Monday, May 9, 2022.   If residents see sediment in their water, it is recommended that they flush their water by keeping it running for 10 minutes. If sediment remains afterward, continue to run water for 10-minute increments until sediment is gone.Read More →

Construction Work on 89 St. & 103 Ave. (Upper West Peace) Posted May 3, 2022 Crews will be commencing work along 89 Street at 103 Avenue in Upper West Peace on Thursday, May 5, 2022. This is part of the Shaftesbury Trail Utility Realignment Project. We will be progressing up 89th Street up to the Ski Chalet over the next month. Residents may encounter occasional delays in these areas as this work takes place over upcoming months. 73 Avenue Road Status Posted April 11, 2022 Construction is currently taking place at the Ecole Des Quartre-Vents school and the construction company, GenMec ACL, is bringing in a large amount of materials for construction. 73 Avenue is not capable of handling the loads and the road has been deteriorating. The Town is aware of this issue. As a temporary solution, GenMec ACL is placing gravel to address the current road problems while they work to determine a long-term solution.
