Empowering Community Groups
Each year in conjunction with Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) the Town of Peace River grants money to community-based programs and groups. Applications are received at the beginning of each year and then reviewed by the FCSS Board.
This year nine organizations brought forth eligible ideas, which were allocated a total of $40,000.
These organizations offer programs geared towards preventative social services and had to offer itemized budgets to complement their proposal. We’re pleased to be able o offer this program each year through the support of FCSS.
