The Minutes of the January 27, 2020, Regular Meeting of Council were approved.
Public Hearings
Bylaw 2067 amend 1891 to redistrict 9501 100 St and amend C-R and R-D
A public hearing was held regarding a proposed amendment to the Land Use Bylaw that would permit a drive-thru to be added to the KFC downtown. No comments were received prior to the hearing and no one spoke for, against, or to the impacts of the bylaw during the public hearing.

Members of the Peace River Municipal Library Board presented updated bylaws to Council for approval. The bylaws are linked above.

Council voted to give the proposed amendment second and third reading, meaning it has been passed and KFC can buld a drive-thru.

Peace River Municipal Library – Budget Presentation
Members of the Peace River Municipal Library Board presented about their budget and impacts of their services.

Non-Profit Tax Exemption for Air Cadets
Council approved the tax-exempt status for the Air Cadets’ leased location.
Peace River Library Revised Bylaws
Council approved the library’s updated bylaws.
Northern Lakes College Convocations
Council was enabled to attend the convocation in June.
Visit of APEGA President
Council was enabled to attend the APEGA President’s visit in March.

The report on the non-binding referendum and the exit poll survey were presented to Council as an information item, the report is linked above.
