Stolen property recovered, Property offender arrested

On May 26th, 2018 the Peace Regional RCMP responded to a complaint of a speeding black SUV. Members attempted to initiate a vehicle stop and the vehicle fled at a rapid speed and struck a nearby curb which caused significant damage to the black SUV. The lone occupant, was a male driver in the vehicle, who fled on foot and was apprehended after multiple RCMP members descended to the area and pursued him on foot.

The 19 year old male driver from Peace River, AB was arrested, and charged with multiple offences.

  • Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000;
  • Drive While Unauthorized

The offender has a court date in Peace River Provincial Court July 9, 2018.

The black SUV in this event was recovered, and found to be stolen from Grande Prairie, AB.
