It is with a heavy heart that the Town of Peace River and the Peace River Fire Department announce the sudden passing of Captain Martin Cooper.

Town flags will remain at half-mast until the date of the memorial. Memorial plans are being prepared and will be shared when they are finalized.

Captain Cooper was an integral part of the Peace River Fire Department during his seven years of service. His loss leaves our community with a great feeling of grief. We offer our most sincere condolences to Captain Cooper’s family, and friends, he will be dearly missed.
