Please note that effective April 1, 2024, the Town of Peace River will be charging $25 (+GST) for Criminal Record Checks conducted by the RCMP.
RCMP will be able to accept payment by debit and credit card. Cash payments will not be accepted at the RCMP Detachment; however, if cash is your only option, the Town can accept cash payments at Town Hall, and you can then provide the receipt to the detachment as proof of payment.
This fee was newly introduced as part of the 2023 Fee Schedule Bylaw approved by Council; however, it will not go into effect until April 1, 2024. No fee will be charged for any Criminal Record Checks conducted prior to that date.
