National Aboriginal Veterans Day Flag Raised

Following a request from the Peace River Aboriginal Interagency Committee (PRAIC) the Town of Peace River has raised the National Aboriginal Veterans Day Flag at the community flagpole, located in the Main Street roundabout. This is in honour of National Aboriginal Veterans Day on Nov. 8.
Also to commemorate, PRAIC is holding an event today at Riverfront Park. It begins at 10:45AM, with a moment of silence at 11:00AM. All are welcome.
