1. Request for Decision re: Water Treatment Plant Capital Project
The project was originally slotted for $305,000.00 and now due to inflation and increasing resin costs, Administration is asking for a revised project budget of $584,000.00.
The (Deputy mayor) motion to approve the revised project budget of $584,000.00 and award the contract to AGS Mechanical was carried.
2. Request for Decision re: Curling Club loan
The (shannon) motion to approve the write off of $36,000 in deemed uncollectible accounts receivable was carried.
The motion to support councillors in their application to several committees, including the Small Communities Committee and the Economic Strategy Committee, was carried.
4. Request for Direction re: Climate Adaptation Funding Opportunity
The motion to direct Administration to undertake the second step in the Climate Resilience Capacity Building Program application process was carried.
5. Briefing Note re: Art Club Requests
The Briefing Note was accepted for information.
6. Briefing Note re: Active Transportation Fund Successful Application
The Briefing Note was accepted for information.
7. RFD Repeal of Policy: Acquisition of Property
The motion to rescind the Council Policy, D-66-1996-04-01 Acquisition of Property was carried.
8. Information Briefing Note re 101st Street Storm Sewer Repairs and Slide Mitigation
