Posted April 28, 2021

April 28 is the National Day of Mourning where we remember those lost due to workplace illness or incidents. According to figures from the Workers’ Compensation Board of Alberta (WCB), 150 people in Alberta were lost to workplace injury or illness in 2020.

In honour of those lost, flags at municipal facilities have been lowered to half-mast for the day.
