Paddle the Peace is an annual event held the third weekend in August in Peace River, Alberta.
Join us for tea on the NAR Train Station platform and enjoy a selection of sweet treats from local baker 'The Goody Girl'. Dates: July 9 & 23, August 6 & 2 - all teas start at 2pm $12.00 +gst per ticket, please purchase your tea tickets ahead of time at the Peace River Museum as space is limited. Digging in the Dirt Film Screening and Discussion A documentary about the psychological cost of working in Alberta's oil sands. To commemorate World Suicide Prevention day the Community Helpers Program will be hosting a film screening with a panelist discussion to follow. The event is free, but registration is required.
