The date has been finalized and the anticipation is building… the puck drop for the 2020 Alberta Pond Hockey Championships will be on March 6, 7 & 8 2020.   Reunite with your friends over a weekend when time can stand still and we can all be kids for three days. This Alberta Pond Hockey Championships will go down in history. Make sure you keep an eye on their social media channels and website for updates.   Divisions are; Recreational, Women’s, Old Timers (35+) and Juniors. Like always the Junior Division play for FREE! The weekend is jammed packed with a little something for everyone.

Albertans Helping Albertans Virtual 5K Supporting Alberta Cancer Foundation

The Albertans Helping Albertans Virtual 5K is a virtual, province-wide fundraiser that will raise funds for the 17 Alberta Health Services cancer centres, by encouraging participants to individually run or walk a minimum of 5 kilometres in support of the cancer centre in their area, from Fort McMurray, to Red Deer to Lethbridge. Fundraising can start immediately and the race will run from May 1 - May 31, 2020. Registration is open and free for individuals under 18 years old, and $20 for all other participants. During a pandemic, how we respond looks different but the principles are the same. PFA Online Training allows responders to provide support over the phone to individuals that may be quarantined, in self-isolation, or practicing physical distancing in order to prevent the spread of a pandemic. The 2-hour interactive online training will cover essential tools, key PFA action principles, and self-care for responders. Note: -
