More than just a library, it’s a place to build and celebrate community.
Expanded in 2011, the library now includes an art gallery to display the work of local artists, and meeting rooms that can be used for library programs as well as community group meetings and activities.
Open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, services available include public access computers, Wi-Fi, work and study areas, and maker-stations. The library has many public areas to read, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, or play a board game.
A variety of programs are offered such as Story Time, Book Club, Bookmobile, and the Summer Reading Club. Special events happen regularly such as author talks, community presentations and seasonal celebrations such as Breakfast with Santa and the annual Haunted House.
Our collection includes books, audio-books, DVDs, magazines, cake pans, and various multimedia kits that can be borrowed with an annual membership. A membership also allows access to items from libraries all over Alberta as well as various online resources including e-books, audio-books, magazines, newspapers, movies, music and reference databases.
Drop in sometime – you’ll be glad you did.
