CN Police Seek Infomation

Released March 23, 2017
On behalf of CN Police Service

The CN Police Service received a complaint of significant damage to a CN Rail bridge that crosses over Highway 744 in Peace River, Alberta. A routine bridge inspection by CN discovered that unknown person(s) deliberately cut into one of the wooden pillars which support the steel bridge structure. While the bridge remained structurally sound, compromising any part of a rail bridge potentially places the public at risk. The incident occurred sometime between January 17, 2017 and February 22, 2017.

Anyone with information about those responsible for this incident are asked to contact CN Police Constable Ryan MacArthur at (780) 472-3237 or [email protected].
