Wayfinding signage to improve town navigation
Peace River, Alberta – Finding your way around our community will soon be getting much easier.
The Town of Peace River is excited to announce we are developing a wayfinding plan that includes design and installation of directional signage that will help increase awareness and ease of navigation in our community.
“Wayfinding signage will fill a gap in our community to help residents and newcomers alike easily find major points of interest,” said Tanya Bell, Director of Community Services. “We have so much to offer in Peace River and this project will help make sure no one misses out.”
This project is funded through a $200,000 matching grant from Alberta’s Northern and Regional Economic Development Program.
Implementation of signage that helps people find their way around town and to prominent destinations will take place in 2025.
