New Fire Chief

We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Tim Harris to Manager of Protective Services/Fire Chief. Tim has been with the Fire Department for over 20 years, we are excited about the wealth of experience he will bring to his new role.

Shortly after his official promotion Harris and PRFD responded to a vehicle fire along 98 Street in Peace River, which was called in at about 3:30am. After that fire was extinguished  the department was called to a kitchen fire at the Best Canadian Motor Inn downtown, grease had ignited and smoked out the restaurant. The department was able to put out the fire before 7:30 this morning.
