Game 7 feels like a lifetime ago, and so does our Monday night Town of Peace River Council meeting.
Here are some highlights:
➡️ Three community organizations received grants. Those include $10,000 to the Peace River Boating Association; $5,000 to the Peace Country Rugby Club; and $1,000 to Glenmary School.
➡️ First reading was given to Bylaw 2158, which amends Land Use Bylaw 1891 by redistricting Shaftesbury Settlement Lot 38 from Residential 1-A District to Direct Control District.
➡️ Council directed Administration to negotiate a three-month pilot project with Apex Security to be funded through the general operating reserve. We will have more details on what this looks like when it’s finalized.
And a lot more!
