Students Grill the Deputy Mayor

Deputy Mayor Marc Boychuk held court in the council chambers as a stream of passionate youth gave their input on life in Peace River.

 

We heard comments and questions about snow plowing priorities, managing homelessness, progress on the pool's repairs, and much more.

 

The Grade 8 and 9 students came from Glenmary School and Polyvalante des Iles, as part of an Experiences Canada French Immersion exchange program.

 

They were busy racing from stop to stop in a scavenger game, with their task at the Town office being to present to the Deputy Mayor.
