Bylaws to Amend The Town of Peace River Land Use Bylaws No. 1891

Pursuant to Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Peace River will hold a Public Hearing before the second reading of Bylaw No. 2077 to amend the Town of Peace River Land Use Bylaw No. 1891.

Bylaw No. 2077 includes the following amendments to the Land Use Bylaw:

Adding “funeral services” as a discretionary use to the following land use districts:

  • Primary Commercial District (C-1)
  • Highway Commercial (C-2)
  • Highway Commercial (C-3)
  • Riverfront Development District (R-D)
  • Light Industrial District (M-1)
  • Mixed Industrial District (M-1B)

The Council of the Town of Peace River has given first reading to Bylaw No. 2077 and will hold a public hearing as follows:

Peace River, AB

The proposed bylaws may be viewed at the Town Office during normal office hours or at this link.
