Flags Lowered Following Shooting in New Zealand

Flags at the Town of Peace River Town Hall have been lowered in honour of the victims of the shooting in New Zealand. They will remain lowered until Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

“Flags have been lowered to honour the victims of the attack on two mosques in New Zealand and as a repudiation of the Nazi-like ideologies expressed by the gunman. Which Canadians fought so valiantly in WW2 to vanquish and extinguish.”
