It’s a way of helping people immediately after a disaster or emergency.
PFA providers give practical support in a way that respects a person’s dignity, culture and abilities; that helps to meet their basic needs and helps connect them to resources, community services and social supports; and helps protect them from further immediate harm.
This training is for individuals who are new to disaster response or could be the first point of contact during a disaster or emergency.
