Core Services

Our programming is divided up into five core services, below is a summary of them.

Parent Education

Offering support for everyday parenting from toddlers to teens.

One of the bg programs offered for Parent Education is our Triple P РPositive Parenting Program, an internationally recognized program that gives parents the skills they need to build strong family relationships, manage misbehaviour and prevent problems from happening in the first place.
From toddler tantrums to a teenagers defiance, from bedtime dramas to outright disobedience, Triple P helps you sort through the issues that affect families everywhere- giving your child the best start in life.

Developmental Screening

The Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) looks at children’s development from, two months to five and a half years old, in five key areas.

  1. Communication,
  2. Gross Motor Skills,
  3. Fine Motor Skills,
  4. Problem Solving Skills,
  5. Personal-Social Skills.

The Ages and Stages Social-Emotional Questionnaire focuses exclusively on the social and emotional development of your child. For more information talk to any of our staff members and they will be happy to help you. All inquiries will be kept confidential

Family Support

Sometimes an engaging environment can help families to build strong connections. Our centre offers free drop in play (Ages 0-6) Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9AM to 5PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30AM to 5PM, and Saturdays from 10AM to 2PM.

Additionally trained Parent Link staff are on site during all open hours to assist.

Early Childhood Development & Care

We offer a number of programs and services to help parents understand their child’s growth from infant to six-years-old. Learn more by contacting us or coming in for visit.

Information & Referral

Our extensive brochure wall and resource lending library is available. We also have knowledgeable staff who can help to connect families with community programs, agencies and resources.
