The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is an internationally recognized research-based program that gives parents the skills they need to build strong family relationships, manage misbehaviour and prevent problems from happening in the first place. Tipsheets, Primary Groups, Teen Groups and One on One Sessions are available. More info on Triple Parenting is available in this poster.
We also offer Circle of Security Parenting, Kids Have Stress Too and the Fun Friends program. We regularly bring qualified guest speakers to our programs to share information on a variety of relevant parenting topics.

The Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) looks at children’s development from two months to five and a half years old, in five key areas:

The Ages and Stages Social-Emotional Questionnaire (ASQ-SE) focuses exclusively on the social and emotional development of your child. For more information, talk to any of our trained staff members and they will be happy to assist you.

An engaging environment can help families build strong connections. Our Peace River centre offers free drop in play (Ages 0-6) Monday-Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, Thursdays from 9 am to 7 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. We also offer drop in play time at our Fairview center, located in EE Oliver School, on Monday afternoons from 1 pm to 4 pm. Parent Link staff are available during drop in hours to answer any questions you may have.
Early Childhood Development & Care
We offer a wide variety of learning through play programs in Peace River and well over 20 surrounding communities in our region, giving parents/caregivers and their children unique opportunities to support early learning in a stimulating, engaging environment. Programs focus on the five developmental domains: physical health and wellbeing, communication skills and general knowledge, social competence, language and thinking skills and emotional maturity. Information & Referrals
We offer an extensive brochure wall and resource lending library with a great selection of books and resources for children and parents. We have also added Literacy Kits full of toys, books and activities that are available to borrow! We also have knowledgeable staff who can help to connect families with community programs, agencies and resources during all open hours.
