Forged from the Glenmary Saints and the former Peace High Nomads to create a multi-school team, the Peace River Pioneers have players from Peace High, Glenmary and Paul Rowe in Manning on the roster.

The Peace River Pioneers have competed in the Mighty Peace Football League for the past 13 years.  The team is organized by a board of parents and coaches that work together to purchase equipment and supplies, book travel and accommodations, plan the season and look after all of the work that it takes to run a football team.  The team has a strong history of success with Peace Bowl Championships in 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2010 and Athabasca Bowl Champions in 2002.  They have competed in Tier 3 Provincial playoffs consistently for many years and were finalists in 2003, 2009 and 2010.10

The team is excited to begin a new season and a new era in Pioneers Football!
