Prenatal classes: Education on labour, delivery, comfort techniques, medical intervention, postpartum adjustment, newborn care, safety and infant feeding. Please phone to register for these classes. Breastfeeding Support: Public Health nurses are available to assist mothers who have questions or need support with breast feeding. Please phone to see when the breast feeding clinic is open. Healthy Beginnings (Baby Visits): Support for families with new infants. Nurses will contact all families within 24 hours of discharge from the hospital. Home visits and/or telephone assessments are available as well as information on feeding, care and safety. Outreach Campus provides a holistic learning environment for students for whom the traditional school setting has not been effective. The program offers Alberta Learning Curriculum for grades 10-12 and encourages flexibility, self-discipline, and independence with certified teacher supported learning and distance learning materials. Student support services are provided in addition to educational services. Student support services include access to Youth Support Workers, a Native Liaison, and a Career Counselor.
