    Prenatal classes: Education on labour, delivery, comfort techniques, medical intervention, postpartum adjustment, newborn care, safety and infant feeding. Please phone to register for these classes.

    Breastfeeding Support: Public Health nurses are available to assist mothers who have questions or need support with breast feeding. Please phone to see when the breast feeding clinic is open.

    Healthy Beginnings (Baby Visits): Support for families with new infants. Nurses will contact all families within 24 hours of discharge from the hospital. Home visits and/or telephone assessments are available as well as information on feeding, care and safety.

    This program assists infants and young children with developmental exceptionalities and their families to enhance the child’s development and strengthen the family’s ability to adapt to the challenges of having a child with exceptional needs.
