Municipal Water Service is expected to return the evening of October 14, 2023.

The repair required that the Town shut down one of the high-pressure transmission lines to complete the work. The affected residences are fed, or closely connected to, the section of the transmission line that was shut down to complete the work.

When the water line was shut down it resulted in a loss of pressure in the area. Town staff will have flushed the water line and sent samples to the AHS Provincial Lab for testing. The Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until test results show the water is acceptable and Alberta Health Services rescinds the Order.

Information about the Boil Water Advisory is also being hand-delivered to affected properties.

We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences created by this water break and thank you for your support and patience as we complete the repairs.
