Mischief to Garbage Trucks

The Peace Regional RCMP have had multiple reports made over the last couple months of mischief targeting garbage trucks that serve the region.

This information has not bee disclosed prior to now due to the ongoing police investigation.

Damage to trucks have in many cases rendered them inoperable. The damage was most frequently done overnight prior to collection days. This vandalism has been ongoing for the last few months.

Peace Regional RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance from anyone who may have information regarding these crimes. The Town of Peace River and GFL Environmental are offering a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
